CODEX TRANSFER STATION FOR MAC OSX - PROCESSING ARRIRAW REV 11.14.12
Getting Proxy files for editing
IMPORTANT NOTE: Before copying les from the Codex VFS always check there is only one copy of the shots loaded. There could be more
than one copy, for example, if you have cloned shots to the Internal storage. Performing this check will prevent duplicate RAW or proxy les
being copied from the Codex VFS.
There are two Conguration preset examples for creating proxy les for editing:
1. Codex FCP Editorial (preset) - this will create ProResLT les. There is no Scaling, LUT or Burn-In applied by default. This preset should be
edited to use for your project.
2. Codex Avid Editorial (preset) - this will create DNxHD 115/120 les. There is no LUT or Burn-In applied by default. This preset should be
edited to use for your project.
Choose the correct Conguration for your project:
This preset conguration needs to be customised for your project. To make the conguration suitable for your project now select COPY
CONFIG to create a copy of this conguration, and rename it for your project:
Note: any renamed conguration cannot have the rst word ‘Codex’.
Once the conguration has been renamed for your project, for each le type click to select it and then click EDIT. This opens up more options
for that File Type. THE NEXT STEP IS CRITICAL TO A SUCCESSFUL CONFORM PROCESS.
Now set the Tc Rate or Fps Rate for the selected File Type to be correct for your project (and remember you must do this for all File Types):
